Dr. Gordon L. Anderson received his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from Claremont Graduate University, Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was the president of Paragon House since 1994, and former President of the Minnesota Legislative Evaluation Assembly. He has, extensively organized PWPA events globally in 90 different countries and authored notable works, including "Philosophy of the United States: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."
Dr. Hugh Spurgin has his masters in public administration from Syracuse University and a masters and PhD in American History from Columbia University. He has had 55-year career in management and leadership roles in various non-profit religious and educational organizations, such as serving as president of Unification Theological Seminary, vice-president of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, president of Bridgeport International Academy, and executive director of the International Cultural Foundation and Professors World Peace Academy. Dr. Spurgin’s efforts to promote peace among people of very diverse backgrounds took him throughout America and to many nations throughout the world.
Dr. Frank Kaufmann is the Director of PWPA here in the US. He has his PhD in the history of Christian Thought from Vanderbilt University. He is also the director and head of various organizations and initiatives and has worked in a variety of scholarly areas to promote the ideal of peace. He is widely published and a known speaker on the social, cultural, and political dimensions of current affairs. He is the editor in chief of the New World Encyclopedia, a widely used, values based, general knowledge encyclopedia.
Dr. Thomas Selover has a doctorate in comparative religion and East Asian philosophy from Harvard University. He currently serves as international president of the Professors World Peace Academy and international co-coordinator of IAAP, the International Association of Academicians for Peace. He has taught for over 25 years at universities and colleges in Canada and the US, as well as in China and Korea.
